Five-Compartment Bagasse Tray — GR-P15

Product Introduction

318×218 mm five-compartment bagasse tray, 34 g, 26 mm deep. One large and four small wells for canteen and buffet service. Wholesale moulded pulp trays.

A moulded-fibre tray at 318 × 218 × 26 mm, 34 g, with five compartments — one large well and four smaller ones. No lid is shown on the drawing.

Construction

The layout maps to a standard set meal: main, staple, two sides, and a small well for pickles or dessert. Because the wells are formed in the tool rather than pressed in afterwards, there is no seam between compartments and the rim stays rigid when the tray is loaded one-handed — the actual test in a canteen.

Depth is the constraint that decides the channel. At 26 mm the tray holds a plated portion without the food climbing the walls, and it rules out anything with free liquid: a curry or a soup reaches the rim before the tray is full.

Fit and limits

Canteens, hospitals, schools, staff restaurants, airline and event catering — everywhere a portion is handed over rather than delivered. The absence of a lid rules out transport, so if a tender specifies a closed or sealed tray, this is not the SKU. Saying that costs one order; discovering it at first delivery costs the account.

Specification notes

Dimensions are quoted as drawn; the tray is shown without a lid, and whether one exists as a separate item is a question for the factory rather than an assumption for this page. Depth is stated at 26 mm, which is the figure that decides whether a dish can travel.
