5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary:

  • Manufacturing partners. To quote and produce your order, specifications and delivery details are passed to the partner factories that will make it, under confidentiality obligations and only to the extent needed for that order.
  • Logistics and freight forwarders. Name, address and contact details are shared to arrange shipment and customs clearance.
  • Service providers. Hosting, email and analytics providers that process data on our instructions under written agreements.
  • Professional advisers. Accountants, auditors and lawyers, where required.
  • Authorities. Where we are legally required to disclose, for example customs, tax or regulatory bodies.
  • Business transfer. If the business or its assets are transferred, relevant records may be transferred to the acquirer under equivalent obligations.

6. International transfers

We are based in China, and our manufacturing partners are in China. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and processed in China, which has not received an adequacy decision from the European Commission or the UK government.

For transfers out of the EEA and the UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (and the UK Addendum where applicable), together with organisational measures: access limited to staff handling your enquiry, confidentiality undertakings from partner factories, and encryption in transit.

  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Erase data we no longer need for the purpose it was collected
  • Restrict processing while a dispute about accuracy or lawfulness is resolved
  • Port data you provided to us, in a structured machine-readable format
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the EU, the authority in your country of residence; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office

California residents additionally have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion and correction, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise a right, email privacy@jiantongpack.com. We respond within 30 days, and may ask for information to verify that the request comes from you. Where the request concerns data held by a partner factory for your order, we will coordinate with them.

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to the data: encrypted connections, access control on enquiry records, restricted file sharing, and confidentiality terms with staff and partners who handle order data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; if a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required.
